These vintage iron-on transfers from the 1940s are printed on tissue paper. They can be transfered onto a garment such as a t-shirt by simply placing them face down on the clothing and applying them using a hot iron to the back of the paper. They still work after all of these years! (The Mister Softee Iron-Ons near the bottom of the page are from the 1950s).
