The El Rancho Vegas was the first hotel and casino on the Las Vegas Strip. Located at the southwest corner of Sahara and Las Vegas Boulevard, it opened on April 3, 1941, and operated for 19 years until it was destroyed by a fire on June 17, 1960. This letterhead and matching envelope is from the resort's Executive Office and imprinted with the same colorful El Rancho Vegas logo as shown. Leadhead measures 8-1/2" x 11". Here’s an opportunity to own a piece of Las Vegas history for a very modest price. Click on photo to enlarge. (Please be sure to see our other El Rancho Vegas items.)
